Acquiring a work
From us to you.
A painting does not end the moment it is finished.
We also care about the condition it arrives in, what its new owner will know about it, and how the whole handover takes place.
That is why we approach every original individually.
Choosing
If a particular painting interests you, contact us directly. We will tell you about its availability, dimensions and price, and send further photographs if you wish.
We would not want you to decide from a single picture on a website.
Preparation
Every work has its own dimensions and surface, so we adapt the protection and packing to the particular painting.
We are also preparing our own wooden transport crates for our originals. We want them to be sturdy, practical and well made, not merely decorative.
What comes with the painting
With each original we prepare a certificate of authenticity signed by us and a printed story of the painting.
The certificate identifies the work and documents its origin. The story is the more personal part of the handover: it offers the view from which the painting arose, or how we think about it ourselves.
Delivery
We agree in advance on the method of transport, how it is secured, its cost and the terms of insurance.
For larger or more valuable works, an individual transport arrangement may be appropriate.
Our aim is that you know in advance how, and on what terms, the painting will reach you.
We do not want to make a performance of the handover. We want it to be personal, careful and worthy of what is being handed over.
